Food Safe Package

Before manuscripts are considered for peer review, they undergo a preliminary evaluation to assess their suitability for publication in Food Safety and Packaging. This assessment considers novelty and originality, plagiarism, relevance to journal scope, and technical quality. Food Safety and Packaging reserves the right to reject any manuscript.

Manuscripts that pass the pre-review assessment will be subjected to a Double-Blind Review process. This process involves anonymizing the manuscripts and sending them to at least two independent reviewers who are experts in the relevant field. The identities of reviewers and authors are kept confidential. Based on the reviewers' evaluations, the EIC will decide regarding the manuscript's suitability for publication. Upon approval, the manuscript will be prepared for publication, including copyediting, formatting, and publication in an online edition of the journal.
